According to the latest provisional statistics from the UK House Price Index released by Registers of Scotland, Scotland’s property prices continued to soar in June 2022 . The average price reached £192,249, an increase of 11.6% on June 2021 and of 2.2% compared with May 2022. The UK average rose by 1.0% on the previous month, and 7.8% year on year, to £286,397.
The average Scottish home now costs more than £200,000 for the first time, as property prices rose last month by about £100 per day.
