Housing Market bounces back

Evidence in the market is showing that, even despite the fact that buyers can only have virtual tours of properties just now, demand is now stronger than it was before the property market was frozen at the end of March.

The Director of Research at Zoopla has confirmed that it is his view that the rebound in housing demand over the last few weeks is not solely explained by a return of pent up demand, but that Covid19 has brought a whole new group of would be buyers into the housing market.

Kay and Claire of our property department have certainly found that interest over the last few weeks has been phenomenal with some properties already having in excess of 10 formal notes of interest via solicitors, and that despite the fact that no-one has been able to see the property, other than by a video tour.
