Malcolm M. A. Goddard

Malcolm Goddard is Director and Head of Commercial Property. He has nearly twenty years’ experience in commercial property and is highly regarded in his field. Having trained with Dickson Minto, he spent years working with McGrigors in Glasgow and Edinburgh, dealing with household-name clients on a daily basis. Mal has considerable experience in all aspects of commercial property, including extensive leasing, investment acquisitions and disposals, portfolio management and secured lending.

Having undertaken a specialist commercial property traineeship, Mal has gathered a depth and breadth of experience over a decade and a half of working with both large and small commercial property clients and their related business needs.

He is now a Director at Raeside Chisholm, specialising in servicing the property requirements of owner managed businesses, sole traders, SME’s and small – medium sized commercial enterprises.

Mal has excellent awareness of the relevant issues specific to each client in an ever-changing and often confusing business world.

A keen exponent of the ‘plain English’ campaign, Mal ensures each client fully understands the legal and business aspects to each transaction and communicates this clearly in easily understood terms.

With an awareness that business now operates in a cost sensitive economic climate, Mal delivers excellence at a realistic value-for-money level whether you are buying or selling property, or you are a landlord or tenant.
