Scotland is the fastest moving market for million pound plus homes

Research from Rightmove has shown that Scotland has now overtaken London as the fasted moving market for homes which cost more than £1,000,000.  Analysis shows that these properties in Scotland typically find a buyer within 61 days which is some 25 days quicker than before the pandemic.

The research looked at the year before the pandemic compared to the year since the property market re-opened.  It shows that million pound properties in London now take an average of 67 days to find a buyer over the last year.  This means that London has gone from the fastest selling region to being the fifth behind Scotland, the east of England, the south east and the east Midlands.
